Developed in the early 1990s by the Walt Disney Company to be a real world embodiment of Walt Disney's original vision of an Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow (EPCOT!). Named the "New Community of the Year" in 2001 by the Urban Land Institute.
This week, the town that Mickey Mouse built had its first official murder. And a violent suicide.
